The classification of walking units claimed by a GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER PRACTICE for rural practice payments. These units are in addition to the distance units, and are for that part of the route which has to be walked. Walking units are credited only from the point where a GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER would have to leave an ordinary two-wheel drive car and walk to the PERSON's residence under normal winter conditions.
