STRUCTURED PROGRAMME

A type of HEALTH PROGRAMME.

A programme to deliver services within a 'structured framework' to a defined target population in order to prevent or identify a specific disease or condition, or in order to assess the health of, or support and advise, a particular group of the population. Any community staff group may contribute to a STRUCTURED PROGRAMMES. Each STRUCTURED PROGRAMMES has a sub-type of:

a. IMMUNISATION PROGRAMME or
b. CONTACT TRACING PROGRAMME or
c. SCREENING PROGRAMME or
d. SURVEILLANCE PROGRAMME or
e. ORAL HEALTH PROGRAMME or
f. HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAMME
