CL010 - Person Observations and Characteristics

1. This diagram shows the classes concerned with CHARACTERISTIC and observations recorded about a PERSON.

2. CHARACTERISTICS refer to features relating to an individual and include ethnicity, sex, weight, marital and smoking status.

3. PERSON OBSERVATIONS refer to observations made by a CARE PROFESSIONAL or PERSON about another PERSON. These include clinical diagnosis.

4. Clinical observations must be classified using the appropriate CLINICAL CLASSIFICATION, for example Read Codes.
