1. This diagram shows the classes relevant to SMOKING CESSATION SERVICES.

2. These services are set up by PRIMARY CARE TRUSTS to help and monitor people giving up smoking.

3. When a PERSON presents themselves to a SMOKING CESSATION SERVICE for assistance to stop smoking, a PERSON SMOKING CESSATION EPISODE is started. The episode forms the basis for providing treatment and support as well as the monitoring of progress.

4. The PERSON SMOKING CESSATION EPISODE ends either when it is confirmed that the person has stopped smoking, or has ceased to attempt to give up smoking, whichever is the earlier.
