HP390 - ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION CORE DATA SET

1. The Acute Myocardial Infarction data set has been developed to support the requirements of the National Service Framework for Coronary Heart disease and has been co-ordinated by the Royal College of Physicians.
2. The ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION CARE SPELL starts when the patient arrives at the hospital. It ends when either the patient dies, is discharged from the CARE SPELL, is not given a further out-patient appointment or does not attend for six months.
3. PERSON OBSERVATIONS relevant to the ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION CARE SPELL may be recorded for each PATIENT.
