The PATIENT will be referred to a CONSULTANT in Rehabilitation Medicine or to a PROFESSIONAL STAFF GROUP SERVICE (ie, to a therapist) in order to have a particular function, eg mobility, restored. FUNCTIONAL DEFICIENCIESclassifies the function to be restored, by reference to the affected part of the body, which is the subject of the particular referral.
