A cause of death.

There are four types of cause of death, 'immediate cause of death', 'condition giving rise to death', 'underlying condition leading to death' and 'significant condition not directly related to death'.

The DEATH CAUSE TYPE identifies which of the causes this DEATH CAUSE refers to.
