A type of GMP CONTRACT.

A contract between the Secretary of State for Health and a GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER within a specific GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER PRACTICE. The contract is held and maintained on behalf of the Secretary of State by the PRIMARY CARE TRUST. The contract commits the practitioner to provide specified services in a particular area, from particular premises, and at specified times.

When this contract is awarded, a GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER is entered as a Principal GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER on the Medical List of the PRIMARY CARE TRUST.
