Definition:
This is the time when the CDS Interchange data was created.

Usage:
This is a mandatory data element when submitting CDS Interchanges.

CDS-XML Interchanges:
All XML interchanges submitted to the service must contain a CDS INTERCHANGE TIME OF PREPARATION.
Used in the NHS standard format which is the e-GIF compliant format of HH:MM:SS (and an optional.sss).

NHSCDS EDIFACT Interchanges:
The CDS INTERCHANGE TIME OF PREPARATION is represented by the time data contained in the EDIFACT UNB S004/0019 Time Of Preparation compound data element.
Note that the EDIFACT format is HHMM which is not e-GIF compliant.

CDS INTERFACE GATEWAY SERVICE Interchanges:
The CDS INTERCHANGE TIME OF PREPARATION is represented by the date data contained in the Time Created data field as defined in the Interface Gateway Service Control record.
