PERSON REQUESTED NAME is the same as PERSON NAME TEXT where the PERSON NAME UNSTRUCTURED TYPE equals 'b. Person Requested Name'.
This is the e-GIF standard that should be used for all new and developing systems and for XML messages. For existing CDS EDIFACT messages however, PATIENT NAME should be used.

The Requested Name field should be used where a person requests a particular style of address, for example, The Warden of St.Annes Rest Home or where a name which is longer than that allowed for within a particular package shall be abbreviated in a way other than that arising by default.
