This diagram shows the classes concerned with the administrative data recorded for ORGANISATIONS.

An ORGANISATION may have a number of ORGANISATION STRUCTURES associated with it. Management structures, which are assumed to be hierarchical are of type "Sub-Division Of". Other structures may be recorded such as contractual, partner, & accountable and superseded by relationships with other ORGANISATIONS.

An ORGANISATION is uniquely identified by an ORGANISATION CODE. However a number of ORGANISATION IDENTIFIERS that are created by other ORGANISATIONS can also be recorded.

A ORGANISATION may be contacted using many COMMUNICATION CONTACT INFORMATION.

A ORGANISATION may have many ADDRESS ASSOCIATIONs such as Main Business Premises or Invoice address. Each ADDRESS ASSOCIATION is linked to a known ADDRESS. An ADDRESS is stored only once and may be associated with many PERSONS or ORGANISATIONS.(See AD010).

Each ADDRESS may be defined as being in many GEOGRAPHIC AREAS and may have a corresponding ADDRESS IN GEOGRAPHIC AREA entry. (see AD030).

An ORGANISATION may have many PERSONS that undertake a PERSON ROLE IN ORGANISATION.
