The classification of distance units claimed for rural practice payments. The distance is based upon outward journey only to the residence, or place of visit, of a PERSON and must be more than 3 miles distant from the GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER PRACTICE main surgery by the normal route.
Classification:

b. | For at least 4 miles but less than 5 miles |
c. | For at least 5 miles but less than 6 miles |
d. | For at least 6 miles but less than 7 miles |
e. | For at least 7 miles but less than 8 miles |
f. | For at least 8 miles or over |
