An episode is terminated either by the PATIENT being formally discharged or not being in face to face contact with the service for at least six months unless a planned review date has been arranged. The duration of the episode from initial to last contact is recorded only for speech and language therapy PROFESSIONAL STAFF GROUP EPISODES.
