An indication of whether the face to face contact is the first occasion on which a PATIENT is seen by the particular PROFESSIONAL STAFF GROUP SERVICE, or any staff group (community) of the HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. An Initial Contact begins an episode of care which comprises all the contacts made by the relevant staff of the HEALTH CARE PROVIDER regardless of changes of LOCATION.
