The date that a PATIENT aged 75 and over was last discharged from a hospital; or the date that a PATIENT was last discharged from a hospital following care from a psychiatric specialist. This does not apply to a PATIENT receiving psychiatric care whose primary diagnosis is drug dependency, alcohol dependency or eating disorder.

This is required to determine the period of time between discharge and admission should there be any re-admission to any HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.
