A classification identifying whether a marker was used, and if so what the result was. Markers are chemicals produced by certain cancers that circulate in the blood and can be measured, for example CA125 for ovarian cancer. The marker level is measured by a blood test to see whether it is rising (disease worsening), static or falling (disease shrinking).
National Codes:
1 | No marker |
2 | Progressive status |
3 | Static disease |
4 | Partial response |
