TEMPORARY RESIDENT

A type of PERSON GMP ASSOCIATION.

An agreement between a PATIENT and a GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER whereby a PATIENT receives treatment from a GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER who has accepted and classified the person as a temporary resident for delivery of the treatment.

The PATIENT is regarded as a TEMPORARY RESIDENTS by virtue of being in the area of the GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER for more than 24 hours, needing the services of the GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER and cannot attend their usual GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER PRACTICE due to not being in their normal area of residence.
