This is used in the Clinical Information Group of the CDS to denote the scheme basis of a Diagnosis.
Permitted values are:

Read Version 3.1 is not supported in the CDS.

The CDS-XML codes as specified above must be used.
NHSCDS EDIFACT Message:
In the NHSCDS EDIFACT Message the value used to identify the DIAGNOSIS SCHEME IN USE is carried the EDIFACT data element 1131 as defined in the NHS CDS Manual, Chapter B.
Where necessary, EDI gateway management and translation software must interpret these code sets when interfacing to the NHSCDS EDIFACT Message.
