MH060 - MENTAL HEALTH: PATIENT PROCEDURES

1. In terms of mental health care, PATIENT PROCEDURES may be undertaken during one of the following:
   OUT-PATIENT ATTENDANCE CONSULTANT
   CONSULTANT EPISODE (HOSPITAL PROVIDER)
   DAY CARE ATTENDANCE
   WARD ATTENDANCE
   CONSULTANT EPISODE (ACUTE HOME-BASED)
   

2. The MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT LIST contains a list of selected procedures performed on mental health patients. Each procedure on the list is a MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT LIST ENTRY. When a PATIENT PROCEDURE is one of those included in the list, the procedure is recorded as part of the PATIENT's CARE PROGRAMME APPROACH REVIEW.
