An indication of whether a PATIENT is making first or follow-up attendance at a particular ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.
Note: An attendance at a CONSULTANT CLINIC following an ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY ATTENDANCE is an OUT-PATIENT ATTENDANCE CONSULTANT and not an ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY ATTENDANCE even if the clinic may be held in or near the ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, e.g. a Fracture Clinic.
