An episode of care, treatment or other service by a HEALTH CARE PROVIDER which may be chargeable to one or more NHS SERVICE AGREEMENTS. In most cases, the service will be for the direct benefit of a PATIENT. For example a SERVICE may be one or more of the following:
A SERVICE associated with a CARE SPELL may be treatment carried out by the HEALTH CARE PROVIDER as part of a CARE SPELL for which the lead responsibility is with another HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.
